There's no single 'best' Feit Electric bulb or spotlight. One more thing: if the fixture is labeled 'MAX 60 W,' that label is usually a heat limit from the incandescent era. An LED that draws only ~15W is not the same thermal load, but local inspectors can still flag a mismatch. Don't override the label without talking to the client and, if necessary, the inspector.

Dimmers are the classic emergency callback. An LED that says 'dimmable' is not guaranteed to work with every dimmer. If you're going into a retrofit, get that model number first.

Branch 3: Focused Light and the 'Best Spotlight' Question

'Spotlight' is a category, not a beam spec. A 'best spotlight' list with no mention of beam angle is missing the point.

3a. Security and Perimeter

For outdoor security, you usually want a wide beam, not a narrow spot. A 10-degree spotlight creates one bright pool and leaves the corners in shadow.   • If the goal is maximum general light from a standard socket: branch 2, 100W-equivalent LED.
  • If the goal is a focused beam for security, accent, or portable use: branch 3, spotlight.
  • If the goal is plant growth: branch 4, grow light.
